Young Actor’s Lab (Fall)

What makes a scene, a scene? And how do the actors tell that story in an exciting way? Through creative play, group exercises, and skill-based rehearsals, learn what it takes to put it together! Students will gain invaluable training in voice and diction, characterization, focus, staging, and how to answer that pesky question: “what’s my motivation?” Learn why a play is called a “play,” and have fun exploring what it means to work with other actors on stage. Each actor will display the scenes and exercises they work on at their showcase performance after the last class!
